"Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bells, I want to run a rescue shop within the yard of hell."

It has been my privilege to see first hand the life changing effects that a friend and mentor can have in an individual’s life. I have seen first hand the effects of what a mentor can do in reshaping the way people think. Simply to give advice is not enough and guilt is a poor motivator, but Christ's love can calm a storm and change the direction of a life. Victoria has been blessed with several precious mentors. These women have walked beside her and loved her deeply while sharing the truth. Victoria's cup has been filled due to these relationships and has prepared her in return to share the same love and encouragement with others. Not only is this the example of Christ, it is our commission. It is the very core of Victoria's Friends.
Jurgen and Cindy Horneman | Outreach Leaders
We come to Victoria’s Friends as outreach leaders with first-hand knowledge of life inside the clubs. As former award-winning body builders, models and dancers, we minister out of our testimony of release from a self-destructive lifestyle in the world of glitz and glamour. Our message is one of healing and wholeness to experience the incredible heart of the Father. Our desire is that hurting people will know the exhilarating life of fullness and genuine love.
Natalie Cekan | Praise and Dance Worship Leader
The Victoria's Friends Dance Ministry started in 2004 when I met Victoria through Melissa Yeung. Victoria and I spoke at length about her desire to redeem the dance for the ladies coming out of clubs; giving them an outlet to express themselves through dance while worshiping God. Our desire as a dance team is to show others the love and compassion of Jesus through drama and dance. We pray that others would encounter God through our movements and message.
Amie Johnson | Basket Coordinator/Administrative Assistant
I met Victoria in August of 2005 for a business lunch. I thought I had something great to offer her for the "Mary Magdalene" baskets. But it was the other way around. She had something to offer me. His name is JESUS CHRIST. I was lost and had no idea how lost.
God pierced my heart through meeting Victoria. That's what this ministry is about and that's what she's been called to do, to lead the lost to the Lord. You don't have to be a stripper or a drug addict to be lost. You can be a Christian and be lost. You have to understand that we are just instruments, tools for God to use as He works through His plan.
I am so blessed to be a part of Victoria's Friends. This ministry is so awesome because it is out there hands-on working in the devil's territory to save God's children. It is the most beautiful thing to see a life change through God's grace.
Vicki Benard | Liaison to Churches/Organizations/Partnerships
I met Victoria for the first time in a women's bible study as she shared her testimony. I was absolutely shocked, not at her story, but the fact that she could share so honestly in a church group of women. So many times before, I sat in a small group and pretended to have it all together, pretended that I didn't have a past, pretended that I knew God so well, pretended.... Victoria totally changed my life. She helped me begin to take off my masks and be the person God created and to stop pretending. Having Victoria and her friends come to a church or a women's group and share from the heart has been an incredible blessing. Many times women in the audience are weeping, they have so connected with at least one person or one story or one line and then they too are changed forever.
Matt and Amy Rue | Outreach Team
Matt and I have been married for 10 years. We are passionate about reaching souls for Christ. Matt offers support by praying in the parking lot during our outreaches at the clubs. We support Jeff and Victoria with prayer and are always ready to open our home to meetings and whatever else may be needed.
Melissa Yeung | Fusion Liason/Website Coordinator/Newsletter
When I met with Victoria at a parent-teacher conference in 2003, she shared with me about this ministry, born of her own heartache and deliverance. The seed was sown and I have been involved ever since. It is my desire to serve in a way that will enable women to receive the help they are seeking through the ministry of Victoria’s Friends.
